Merry Christmas🎄

I really wanted to prepare this piece before the holidays. I didn’t have enough time, and I kept thinking how wrong it was to record it when it still needs at least a few more weeks of polishing.

At some point, I caught myself in that thought.

I reminded myself that it’s almost always better to do something today than to wait for the perfect moment.

I see the same pattern in my work when delivering features, sometimes you just need to ship, show progress, and iterate later.

Interestingly, while recording, I noticed far more imperfections and places to work on than when I was just playing for myself. Recording made them visible.

Don’t wait for perfect when the goal is progress. Do prepare deeply when the goal is excellence.
